If you want to effect the climate then ride a bicycle. I don't ever see the so called climate activist riding a bicycle to and their job or stores. Leave us the hell alone. Stop taxing me and my family.
You people manage your States in a horrible way and as a result you devise sneaky way of grabbing/stealing you citizens money. Pathetic. |

The trade-off is that they must drive every day to get to work, to doctors, to get groceries, or to get their children to and from daycare or school. TCI, and any gas tax, disproportionately places the burden of climate change onto the wallets of those living outside of cities who must drive to meet the needs of their daily lives. It is not right that those who drive often face a disproportionate tax to offset the spending of the Government. At the very least, this initiative must come before the Legislature for a vote prior to enactment. |

Climate fluctuation is a normal activity that has been happening since the earth was created. Limiting CO2 emissions so people can feel good about themselves should not burden the taxpayers or drag down the economy. Can government actually work on important items? I agree with Governor Sanunu, just say NO! |

IT has wrecked enough havoc on hour world, and everything we do now to curb pollution will only help create a better future. Public transportation, used by millions of Americans every day, is one source of carbon pollution and can easily be eliminated with modern technology.
As a concerned family man, I urge you to ensure that this policy has a strong goal of prioritizing clean fuel investments in areas overburdened by pollution, and for those who don't have access. This is vital to the health and welfare of our communities.
Thank you for considering my opinion.
Sincerely,
Joseph Collins

It is critical we reduce our carbon emissions quickly, in that climate change is moving faster than expected ,, as measured by accelerated melting of the polar ice caps, the increased burning of forests and extreme weather events. |

I am tired of the "climate change" frauds, climate has never been, is not now and never will be static, it is dynamic.
I remember from the seventies warnings of a new ice age by the nineties.
I also do not want any more of my money to go to the MBTA for anything, including their unfunded pensions. Not my fault, not my problem.
Have you ever wondered why there are so many Mass plates in NH on the weekends?
How can you justify following the same failed policies of California?

This is a climate crisis, and we must immediately work to address the greatest challenge of our generation.
· I support a transportation plan that is focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and pollution while investing in sustainable transportation modes. Bus transit, rail, walking, and biking must be improved across the state, especially in cities and town centers.
· This transportation plan is also a land use plan, and we must stop investing in a sprawling, unsustainable development model. Future development in the state must be in cities, town centers, and near transit stations.
· We should not be investing in expanding interstates. Expanding our interstates in Connecticut both increases emissions in the long term from induced demand and increased driving while putting development pressure on the state’s dwindling forests and farms.
· Many cities and towns in the region have shovel-ready plans to improve transit, rail, and active transportation. We must invest in a future with more people on buses, trains, on foot, and riding bicycles. That future includes more transit-oriented development in walkable communities.
· Addressing greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles also means immediate health benefits for our most overburdened populations as a result of improved air quality and fewer emissions of localized pollutants responsible for cancer and respiratory and cardiovascular ailments, among other adverse health impacts. |

You can't let them get away with it! The political insiders are planning a new gas tax that will harm Rhode Island families. We've fought back hard, but there is still more to do...
The TCI Gas tax will soon dramatically rise the price of gasoline if the Raimondo administration gets their way. Click here or on the button below to sign the growing petition, and then comment against this tax hike on the TCI website.
Your voice is powerful, and it is making the difference. Many lawmakers have already expressed their opposition to the TCI gas tax, but it still isn't enough.
We have them on the ropes, but we must keep the pressure on. The proponents of this progressive agenda won't let up, and neither can we. Thank you. |

It is imperative that we reduce carbon emissions in that climate change is moving rapidly upon us, as evidenced by the accelerated melting of the polar ice caps. This will contribute to stronger storms , hurricanes, flooding and droughts. I fear a feedback loop of carbon and methane releases from the tundra region, which will further accelerate climate chaos.

We need to address this source immediately if we are going to truly mitigate the damage that climate change is going to cause. We cannot simply depend upon the market to make the right choices - it will take too long and not go far enough. Some type of government intervention is needed. The air in Bucks County PA is already bad too often with transportation being a major contributor to the problem. We need a coordinated regional response to address our air quality. |

Our Tower-based design can deliver a triple return for Transit, 5G Communications, and Power T&D – tying in all the renewable sources and making the Power Grid MUCH more Resilient. This is the BIG breakthrough needed (as pointed out by Bill Gates and Breakthrough Energy) to allow us to supply the power grid with clean energy even during windless days, cloudy weather, and nighttime.
More than 40% of all carbon emissions come from the transportation sector and our iSAIL Energy-Fin-Transit can do root-cause fixes while making the U.S. a leader in Climate Change Resiliency and Carbon Reduction …….. iSAIL Energy-Fin-Transit is Towers, Guides and Pods that Fly for 80-100mph intracity/250 mph intercity at the cost of asphalt, $2M-3M/mile and 1/100th the cost of even light rail that can $250M/mile, $1B/mile for hyperloop (IF it works) and up to $5B/mile for heavy rail. iSAIL is based on decades of R&D at DARPA, NASA and MIT with AI proven to work where other methods failed. iSAIL Transit will open up a whole new world of urban-rural and land use optimization, turn commutes and freight delivery from hours to minutes, and Radically Reduce GHG emissions.
Our public–private framework enables a New Financial Model with private investors who are patient and risk tolerant, global corporations, and financial institutions with the capital necessary to finance the world’s largest infrastructure projects as we fill the $90 trillion global void and deliver the 400% return.
With humanity in the “race of our lives,” sea level rise accelerating faster than thought (The Guardian, Feb 3, 2020), together, we can deliver the Breakthrough solutions needed at 1/100th the cost of “dinosaur infrastructure” and deliver the URGENT and Bold Solutions to Climate Change the world is looking for, fill voids in the $90 Trillion infrastructure market, minimize the financial burden, especially in developing countries, maximize Revenue to municipalities, and set the Gold Standard for Resilient Transit, Cities, and world infrastructure.
Can you please let me know if we could schedule some time in the next few days to discuss how, together, we can accelerate delivery for ambitious carbon neutral goal? ….. And fix (much of) the brokenness, that will accelerate with the looming global recession?
Thank you very much!
Joe

We did not consciously vote for Representatives to take it upon themselves to spend, spend, and spend. We elected our Representatives to work in our best interest. No candidate was voted into office with a carte blanche credit card. Our expectation is that our Representatives work diligently to reduce unnecessary costs and balance the state budget. The citizens of Massachusetts elected NOBODY to fall in line behind any Senate or House leaders. It was our intent to elect independent thinkers who ensured us that they have our backs. Continually raising taxes is not what was expected. If I want to buy a new house, or car, I reduce spending and save in order to do so! I expect the same from my Representatives. |
