When are the people in the state house going to look at other states? The TCI is a tax. Taxes take people’s money. That makes them unhappy. They don’t like that. Then they leave. See CT, NJ, NY, CA people moving to SC, FL, TX. Knock off the taxes cloaked in high-minded ideas. If we wanted the green new deal, we would move to NY.

We already voted against the gas tax! This is an unconstitutional method to further tax us and take more of our hard-earned money! Stop overspending in this state and start representing the hard-working taxpayers for once.

The Governor and all the Democrat Hacks need to start thinking more about the citizens of Mass than themselves. They keep giving themselves pay raiser on our backs. To Raise a tax that we voted against is just WRONG! Do the right thing for once and think about all us working middle-class folks. You can't just keep taxing to pay for all the misplaced spending. While your at it why don't you stop spending so much money on people who are capable of working but come to this country for a handout....and definitely lets make this whole state a sancutary state because that works so well......

As a commuting homeowner within the state of Massachusetts, I OPPOSE THE IMPLEMNTATION of the TCI. As defined, it is clearly a tax which must be initiated in the House of Representatives, reviewed and voted upon by those representatives. Please give the voters - as stakeholders - the opportunity to fairly review and comment upon the new tax within the confines of the Legislature.

The TCI is designed to force a massive change on American standard of living under the phony guise of climate change. It's an illegal tax on Americans to force them to give up cars. And without cars, they'll be forced to live in crowded urban cities in very small quarters due to the lack of supply and overregulations. This is part of the UN's Agenda 2030 where “governments, international organizations, the business sector and other non-state actors and individuals must contribute to changing unsustainable consumption and production patterns … to move towards more sustainable patterns of consumption and production.” And how to interpret that? Well, we have this quote from the late billionaire Maurice Strong, an UN environmental guru. “It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle-class … involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and ‘convenience’ foods, ownership of motor vehicles, numerous electrical appliances, home and workplace air-conditioning ... expensive suburban housing … are not sustainable.” And there you have it, the real reason why these initiatives are being implemented.

Local govts have devolved into ideological idiocracies, incapable of coherent, logical planning. Instead of destroying the middle class, how about finally tackling pension reform, shrinking govt, eliminating waste and fraud to find money to spend on infrastruture projects? Massachusetts is spending millions on illegal immigrants, too, money that could be used for far better purposes. We reject any effort to impoverish us to suit the globalists' agenda.

This bill is another example of “the elite” robbing more hard earned money from the working public, for a supposed good cause. Stop overspending on all infrastructure projects and “pretend” that you are a private run business.
