I am working in Boston area and I am driving a lot during the year and this is additional tax for me. I pay enough for toll roads, excise tax, sales tax, registration, title and plate fees and right now additional tax! How many more taxes are you going to come up with this bogus climate change claim? This is no more but additional money grab under this bogus climate change/global warming idea. You cannot predict the weather in couple of days but telling me the word will ended in 10 years if we do not act in climate initiative? This initiative is a big scam and money grab from law abiding citizens in Commonwealth of Massachusetts.	-

Our state government needs to be more accountable for how every existing tax dollar is spent and currently we believe the wasteful spending should be redirected within the existing budget. . This is why we oppose the Transportation and Climate Initiative (TCI) gasoline tax. TCI is not only an unnessary added tax, it is an attempt to bypass the democratic process by pushing through a tax increase without forcing the legislature to take a vote. Eliminating legislative procedure is a very slippery slope for Massachusetts. I do not support this California style gas tax hike and it is wrong for Governor Baker to pursue a tax increase without a legislative vote. Lawmakers are being completely excluded from the process, despite this being the exact task they were elected to carry out.	-

Raising fuel costs increases the costs not just of the fuel itself, but of all items that must be grown, packed, shipped, kept warm or cold and so on. If and when my elected representatives have the opportunity to consider and vote on it, I want the opportunity to hold them accountable for this tax. I consider the intent of this initiative to be fundamentally flawed and the likelihood of government spending to have any meaningful effect to be highly unlikely.	-
