A cap on carbon emissions of at least 25% by 2032
An increase in the minimum investment in overburdened and underserved communities (>35%)
Request that investments be put towards active transportation like better sidewalks, bicycle infrastructure, and high quality public transit
According to a recently released study by Harvard and other institutions, if the program is designed appropriately, up to 1,100 lives can be saved annually, and the region could see $11 billion in health benefits each year.
Thank you. |

Some examples are electric cars, electric trains and buses, bicycles, and even scooters. In order to do this, we will have to enact regulations and laws, provide incentives through rebates, taxes, grants, etc., and develop new infrastructures, such as charging stations, bike/scooter paths, and rails/stations. If we fail to do this, our planet is destined to become much more difficult to live in and we will be spending far more money just to survive than we would have had we developed new modes of transportation. |

Your policies make people poor. You are a nut job to believe electric cars are the way of the future. If you drive up fuel cost you drive up the cost of government. Which will raise taxes. |

These increases will hurt many aspects to business and for independent contractor will be devastating. I do not agree that an tax increase is presented in a alternate way without representation in our house. This needs to be debated and our representatives need to be on record as to how they voted. We as citizens of Massachusetts have this right and no one should take this away from us. |

However, I must stand against TCI, for I feel that TCI is tantamount to taxation without representation, the very dynamic which had made life under British rule intolerable. If other states had followed our lead, the problem would not have not led to suggesting such a dangerous change in governmental policy. Perhaps working with other states, we could encourage and help them to adopt some of the initiatives that we have taken, so as to increase their use of renewable energy. I strongly believe that it is Governor Charlie Baker's duty, as an elected official, to bring his proposal of adopting TCI policy to the Massachusetts legislature for a vote. |

This is a terrible approach to taxation as it is disproportionately levied on low income people, who often have to drive distances to work multiple jobs, and young families who have children that need to be driven to doctors or other service providers. On the contrary, people who live in high income housing in the cities near their employment, medical and other providers are barely affected. Lastly TCI policies may add additional taxes without legislative approval which would be unconstitutional as it is a form of taxation without representation. |

Such as shipping, gas fuel delivery, home heating services, mail, air travel, all service parts and most important grocery price increases. The states should inform the public that it is not necessary to preheat your vehicle prior to driving. Your vehicle will warm up in five to ten minutes faster at a normal speed. The senior citizens who are on a very strict budget will be effected the most, we do not get automatic increase on our retirement, as many of the politicians do. The public is sick and tired for being taken advantage of by the politicians who's salary is paid for by the citizen that elect them in the first place. Thank you, Bill |
