Those consequences have already started and are accelerating at a rapid rate. Think of the expanding number of hurricanes, the horrific fires in California, in other western states, Australia, the Brazilian Amazon, etc., etc. The melting of permafrost in the north is already releasing huge quantities of stored methane. It goes on and on. Quite frankly, to MY view, it is already too late to avoid massive changes to the earth's climate which endanger every aspect of life, including the lives of mankind. This initiative is a MUST!	-

At the same time, solar power is rapidly becoming the most economical source of electricity, as well as the cleanest, and will reduce the demand for fossil fuel. Completing the pipeline will create temporary jobs and short-term profits for a few corporations while doing long-term environmental damage.	-

They are: 1) Put a cap on carbon emissions of at least 25% by the year 2032, 2) Increase the minimum investment in overburdened and underserved communities by 35% or more and 3) The aforementioned investments must be put towards active transportation like better sidewalks, bicycle infrastructure, and high quality public transit.	-
