This should happen in one year and then the policy could be offered for adoption by each of the nine states in the initiative.	-

The truth... read more Dear Governor Wolf, My husband and I are thrilled that you're considering joining 11 other states to form a regional initiative, the Transportation and Climate Initiative. The truth is, we don't have that much time before climate change overtakes us. The oil and gas emissions are not only building up rapidly in our sky but also in our lungs. Reducing pollution from all motor vehicles, including the whole range of trucks, is one of the best ways to reduce Pennsylvania's and the Northeast's pollution. Our bus system here in State College uses propane, which is a gas, but I don't smell or see any emissions. That doesn't mean there are none. We have no time to lose. Please make TCI a priority and work as quickly as possible to reduce the impact of carbon pollution. P.S. Any idea or plans for banning "Fracking" altogether? Sincerely, Wendy	-

It's time for battery powered busses, trucks, cars, etc. Please choose aggressive greenhouse gas reduction targets that the most recent climate science tells us we need. Prioritize clean investments in areas overburdened by pollution and/or for those who don’t have access to transportation choices. Reducing pollution from transportation is a key component to reducing Pennsylvania's emissions! Thanks	-

Families and retired folks are working hard to pay our bills as it is....we can't afford an electric car, gas is not taken for granted. We are very conservative in our use of gasoline and heating oil. We live a simple life and don't own any toys, no camp, no great expensive vacations. We love Maine especially the way it used to be. Mainers... read more Maine should use TCI as an opportunity to invest in local transportation solutions that help Maine people get to where they need to go in an affordable way that’s good for our environment. Mainers also deserve creative new choices and new investments to meet our transportation needs; the one thing we know is that pouring pollution into the atmosphere and sending our hard-earned money out of state for the oil that causes that pollution are NOT the way forward. An ambitious plan to reduce climate-changing transportation pollution is desperately needed and working together with neighboring states makes all kinds of sense. Maine could see significant economic, health, and environmental benefits by transitioning to cleaner and more efficient transportation options through adoption of TCI. PLEASE help us get off fossil fuel!!	-

The effects of climate change are evident all over the globe. We must begin to reduce our carbon footprint. It is extremely important to to complete the policy development process within one year, after which each jurisdiction will decide whether to adopt and implement the policy.”	-
