Attention commie s$itbags. Stop wrecking virginia with your tax and spend and tax some more initiatives. We already pay more at the pump thanks to your dementia patient president. Let's not pass this too and spend more on gas. Sic Semper Tyrannis!

Remember acid rain? Many of you may not as it is no longer poisoning our earth and water. One way this problem was so dramatically and quickly solved was a proposal similar to TCI-P.
Companies were paid to reduce emissions by polluting companies unable to reduce emissions quickly. When proposed, the affected industries screamed that the compliance costs would destroy them and their 'projections' indicated that it could. Meanwhile, the advocates for change indicated costs would be low. The result was that the regulations and fees to comply were well below the lowest projections. It was, and is, a truly outstanding success.
We must move to a modern transportation system and a clean-energy economy. Those changing first will reap the most benefits and the lowest costs. Economically, it will strengthen our economy, reduce greenhouse gas, and provide funding to create a leading edge business climate to further create jobs and profitable ideas.

Vermont needs to take the lead among New England states in dealing with the transportation infrastructure. We need widespread and equitable access to transportation of many types, and we need to develop it in a way that vastly reduces our reliance on fossil fuels. It's now or never. It's also time to insure that the legacy of the Scott administration is favorable to future generations. Please stop aligning with big business and do what is right for the people of Vermont.

Transportation emissions are a huge driver of climate change, accounting for nearly half of Virginia’s carbon output, while also emitting toxic air pollution that falls disproportionately on low-income populations and communities of color.

The Transportation and Climate Initiative Program (TCI-P) is a welcome step forward to addressing this major source of pollution, while steering needed investments in a modern, sustainable transportation system.

Funding provided by the TCI-P could help with ongoing efforts to put more electric vehicles on the road in Virginia along with equitably distributed charging infrastructure across the state.

The TCI-P also presents the opportunity to drive investments in a cleaner transportation system in the communities that have suffered the most from vehicle pollution. While the model rule calls for at least 35 percent of TCI proceeds to go toward frontline, impacted communities, here in Virginia I would hope we go above and beyond that benchmark, investing at least half of our TCI revenue in programs and infrastructure that will lower this disproportionate pollution burden.

I hope this important framework moves forward for the good of our climate, our health and our future.

I would like to know what the TCI does to help the American Taxpayer/ homeowner. If we are to pay more for the price of fossil fuels which we use to heat our homes and get to work. I would like to know what the reward is or the benefit of us paying more. I would greatly appreciate a reply. Thank you

I’m opposed to Virginia joining the TCI. It will impact poor and fixed income Virginia residents drastically and dramatically damage businesses who rely on reasonable fuel prices.

Please...invest in cleaner more equitable transportation...putting a brake on carbon emissions!!
